PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), an integrated energy services company, is focusing on accelerating oil and gas exploration services by strengthening its onshore seismic capabilities, starting in early 2026. This step underscores Elnusa's commitment to supporting national energy security by prioritizing technology and innovation as key levers for accelerating exploration, including through the initial implementation of survey activities in strategic areas of eastern Indonesia.

This acceleration aligns with Elnusa's overarching theme, which places mastery of cutting-edge technology and innovative approaches as the foundation for developing a sustainable energy services business. Through this strategy, Elnusa strives to provide more reliable, precise, and adaptive exploration solutions to address the challenges of the national oil and gas industry.

Elnusa Corporate Secretary, Rustam Aji, stated that technological strengthening has been key to accelerating exploration project execution since the beginning of the year.

"Elnusa began 2026 with a focus on accelerating exploration services through investment in the latest generation of seismic technology. We are strengthening this to ensure optimal data quality, efficient project implementation, and the implementation of high operational safety and reliability standards, while also supporting the national energy security agenda," said Rustam.

Furthermore, Rustam emphasized Elnusa's readiness to support seismic survey activities in Eastern Indonesia. "Eastern Indonesia requires a flexible and adaptive technological approach. With our current capabilities, Elnusa is ready to support seismic survey needs in the region more quickly and effectively," he added.

As part of strengthening these capabilities, Elnusa is making a strategic investment in the procurement of 25,000 STRYDE Range+ nodes with extended operational endurance, supported by the STRYDE Nimble System and the STRYDE Mini System. This dual-platform combination provides high flexibility in survey design and execution, enabling simultaneous project execution, and optimizing resource utilization for both 2D and 3D seismic surveys.

This nodal seismic technology is designed to address the unique challenges of Eastern Indonesia, which features diverse geological structures, challenging terrain, and limited access in some work areas. The large-scale system is utilized for 3D seismic surveys over wide areas, while the portable system supports 2D surveys, parameter testing, and initial surveys in areas with high levels of complexity.

Through this technology, Elnusa aims to improve the quality of high-density seismic data, accelerate acquisition times, and achieve operational cost efficiencies. This acceleration, from acquisition to data interpretation, is expected to drive faster, more accurate exploration decisions and add value for stakeholders.

By strengthening its seismic capabilities since early 2026, Elnusa is further emphasizing its role as a strategic partner for the national energy industry, prioritizing operational reliability, safety, and technological mastery. This step is part of Elnusa's concrete contribution to supporting the sustainability of national oil and gas exploration, particularly in eastern Indonesia.

Going forward, Elnusa will continue to position technology and innovation as the core of its integrated energy services business development, in order to provide competitive, adaptive, and long-term solutions to support Indonesia's energy security.
