PT Pertamina (Persero) has officially launched the Ramadan and Eid Task Force (Satgas Rafi) 2026/1447H to ensure the reliability of national energy supply and distribution during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period. The task force will operate from 9 March to 1 April 2026 across Indonesia. This initiative is part of Pertamina’s strategic effort to maintain energy availability and smooth distribution amid rising public demand during Ramadan and increased mobility during the Eid homecoming and return travel period.
Pertamina President Director Simon Aloysius Mantiri stated that the successful management of energy supply during the 2025 Christmas and New Year task force period provides a strong foundation for preparing for the Rafi 2026 operations. He emphasized that Ramadan and Eid represent one of the most critical periods for national energy distribution, as consumption of fuel (BBM), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and natural gas typically increases due to higher mobility and growing energy demand across the transportation, household, and industrial sectors. To address this, Pertamina has implemented early preparation measures, strengthened cross-functional coordination, and enhanced monitoring and risk mitigation systems throughout its operational chain.
In addition to ensuring adequate energy supply, Pertamina has also prepared various additional services to support public convenience during Ramadan and the Eid travel season. All operations of the task force will be monitored through an integrated command center and digital monitoring system, enabling real-time tracking of energy distribution. The system utilizes data analytics and predictive monitoring to anticipate potential disruptions and support rapid decision-making through coordination forums and crisis centers. Through these efforts, Pertamina aims to ensure that Indonesians can observe Ramadan and travel during Eid safely and comfortably while maintaining national energy security.
