PT Pertamina Gas was established on February 23, 2007. The establishment was to comply with the provisions of Law No. 22/2001 and the increasing demand for gas commodities in Indonesia as an environmentally friendly alternative to fuel oil. At the same time, this effort will provide added value to gas operations. Pertamina Gas continuously develops its business by developing new gas transmission pipelines, new household gas networks, and other gas facility projects throughout Indonesia to ensure domestic energy supply needs.

This effort will provide added value to the gas business in Indonesia. PGN and Pertamina's competence in managing the gas business will propel Pertamina Gas to become the leading energy company in Indonesia. Pertamina Gas is here to support Indonesia's energy security. Mutual support from PGN and Pertamina, as well as other affiliates, will result in strong synergy in the gas business.
