LNG Advanced Course & Site Visit

The LNG Advanced Course & Site Visit is scheduled to take place at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, from 25 to 28 August 2025. This comprehensive program targets professionals such as Middle Managers, LNG Marketers, and Project Managers, offering deep insights into the LNG value chain. The course is led by three distinguished facilitators: Amir Harahap, a seasoned expert in gas infrastructure and operations; Aris Mulya Azof, the Chairman of IGS with extensive experience in corporate finance and business development; and Djohardi A. Kusumah, a senior executive with over 30 years of expertise in the full gas value chain, including leadership roles at PT Nusantara Regas and PPT Energy Trading.

The 3-Day Advanced Course (Monday–Wednesday, 25–27 August 2025) The classroom portion of the program covers six critical modules designed to provide a holistic understanding of the industry. Participants will explore Natural Gas Properties, including quality parameters and terminology, and analyze the LNG Market, focusing on global trends, pricing, and supply dynamics. The curriculum also delves into Project Monetization & Planning and LNG Project Structures, teaching strategies for value creation and the legal frameworks managing risk across the supply chain. Additionally, sessions on Project Financing will guide attendees on evaluating financial viability and debt structuring, culminating in a Case Study that examines innovative solutions for complex Gas-to-LNG projects.

Technical Site Visit (Thursday, 28 August 2025) The final day features an exclusive technical visit to the Map Ta Phut LNG Terminal operated by PTT LNG. The itinerary includes a tour of the LMPT1 plant site using an EV bus to view the process area, followed by a visit to LMPT2. At LMPT2, participants will explore the Flora Exhibition Hall, a unique facility that utilizes cold energy from the LNG regasification process to power its air conditioning system, maintaining a cool climate for rare plants.
