Indonesian Gas/LNG Industry Strategic Program

The "Indonesian Gas/LNG Industry Strategic Program for Executive" is scheduled to take place at the Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel in Japan from 6 to 8 October 2025, combining strategic classroom sessions with a technical site visit. The comprehensive curriculum covers foundational LNG knowledge, global oil and gas outlooks, key technological trends, and strategic decision-making processes for developing gas and LNG businesses.

The course is led by expert facilitators: Amir Harahap covers the supply chain and technology advancements, Aris Mulya Azof leads the module on LNG project finance, and Widhyawan Prawiraatmadja provides the global oil and gas outlook. Additionally, Djohardi A. Kusumah acts as the facilitator for modules on LNG commercial aspects and strategic decision-making , complemented by sharing sessions from industry experts such as Masanori Okada (Rystad Energy), Shinsuke Ishibashi (LNG Japan), Johar Ahadi (Donggi Senoro LNG), and representatives from Hiroshima Gas.

Day 1 (Monday, 6 October 2025) begins with Module 1 focusing on the LNG supply chain, technological advancements, automation, and emerging trends, followed by Module 2 which offers an overview of LNG project finance, covering risk allocation and planning. After a lunch break, the agenda continues with a session on the Global LNG Market presented by Rystad Energy and concludes with Module 3 regarding the Global Oil & Gas Outlook.

Day 2 (Tuesday, 7 October 2025) shifts focus to business aspects with Module 4 covering commercial structures, pricing, sales contracts, trading, and shipping, alongside a session on DSLNG plant reliability. This is followed by Module 5 on strategic decision-making for downstream business, covering domestic strategies, infrastructure, and competitive sourcing. The day concludes with sharing sessions on Hiroshima Gas's history and future direction, as well as a comprehensive analysis of Japan's LNG market history and future.

Finally, Day 3 (Wednesday, 8 October 2025) features a Technical Visit to the Hatsukaichi LNG Terminal, where participants will tour various facilities including the local 5G setup, LNG tanks, jetty, distribution facilities, vaporizers, and the central control room. The program wraps up with a city tour that includes a ferry trip to Miyajima, lunch, a visit to the Itsukushima Shrine, and a stop at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum before returning to the hotel.
