Indonesia is known as a country rich in energy resources. However, energy distribution remains uneven, energy imports continue, and dependence on fossil fuels remains very high. So, how prepared is Indonesia to face a more sustainable energy future? This discussion addresses the real challenges facing Indonesia’s energy sector, ranging from energy distribution disparities in 3T regions, reliance on coal and LPG imports, to the ever-increasing burden of energy subsidies.
