Day 3 - The 5th of IndoPacific Summit LNG 2026
As The 5th IndoPacific LNG Summit 2026 came to a close, the final day highlighted that addressing today's energy challenges requires more than innovation alone—it demands sustained collaboration, strategic investment, and stronger regional partnerships to navigate the evolving energy trilemma and shape the future of LNG across the Indo-Pacific.
IGS Editorial
Bali, Indonesia – 22 July 2026 — After three days of insightful discussions, strategic networking, and meaningful collaboration, The 5th IndoPacific LNG Summit 2026 officially concluded in Bali, reaffirming the importance of regional cooperation in addressing the evolving challenges of energy security, decarbonisation, and geopolitical stability.
Bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, energy companies, financial institutions, and technology providers from across the Indo-Pacific and beyond, this year's summit served as a premier platform for exchanging ideas and developing practical solutions to strengthen the region's LNG ecosystem and support a secure, resilient, and sustainable energy future.
The final day continued the momentum with a series of high-level discussions focusing on some of the industry's most pressing priorities. Delegates explored Indonesia's pathway toward Net Zero 2060, the role of gas and LNG as sustainable bridge fuels, innovative financing models for LNG infrastructure, strategies to manage geopolitical risks through supply portfolio diversification, and approaches to optimizing both small-scale and large-scale LNG infrastructure across Southeast Asia.
The conference featured distinguished speakers from leading organizations including the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE), JERA Asia, ExxonMobil Cepu Limited, MVM ONEnergy, KIS Group, Malaysian Gas Association, Watson Farley & Williams, Baker Botts, S&P Global, Naturgas, PJSC Gazprom, PT PGN (Persero) Tbk, Tokyo Gas Indonesia, Energos Infrastructure, and Galileo Technologies, reflecting the diversity of expertise and perspectives shaping the future of LNG across the region.
In the closing remarks, Bayu Satria Pratama, Chairman of Regulatory & Government Affairs, Indonesian Gas Society (IGS), expressed his appreciation to all speakers, delegates, sponsors, supporting organizations, and partners whose contributions made the summit a success. He emphasized that while the conference has come to an end, the conversations, partnerships, and commitments established throughout the past three days must continue beyond Bali and translate into concrete actions that strengthen regional energy resilience.
Reflecting on the summit's overarching theme, Bayu highlighted that addressing today's energy trilemma requires collective action across governments, industry, financial institutions, and technology providers. As geopolitical uncertainty continues to reshape global energy markets, collaboration remains essential to ensuring secure, affordable, and lower-carbon energy systems for the Indo-Pacific region.
Over the course of the summit, participants not only examined emerging market trends and technological innovations but also reinforced the importance of resilient LNG supply chains, infrastructure investment, policy alignment, and cross-border cooperation. These shared priorities formed a consistent message throughout every keynote presentation, panel discussion, workshop, and networking session.
As The 5th IndoPacific LNG Summit 2026 comes to a close, the Indonesian Gas Society extends its sincere appreciation to every participant, speaker, sponsor, exhibitor, and partner for their invaluable contributions. The summit concludes not as the end of a conversation, but as the beginning of stronger partnerships and continued collaboration to advance energy security and support a more sustainable energy future across the Indo-Pacific.
See you at the next IndoPacific LNG Summit, Bali 2028, where together we will continue shaping the future of energy.
