While networking activities took place on the golf course, another group of delegates participated in an exclusive Workshop & Technical Visit designed to showcase practical LNG solutions already supporting Indonesia's evolving energy landscape.

Held at Conrad Bali, Tanjung Benoa, the technical visit was supported by PT Wira Energi, providing participants with the rare opportunity to witness a complete small-scale LNG ecosystem operating under real conditions.

Delegates observed live LNG transfer operations using Mobile Regasification Units (MRU), microbulk storage systems, regasification facilities, and IoT-based monitoring technologies. The demonstration illustrated how decentralized LNG infrastructure can safely and efficiently deliver cleaner energy solutions while improving operational flexibility and reliability for industrial and commercial users.

Beyond the live demonstration, the workshop explored strategic topics shaping the future of LNG development, including:

• Developing integrated LNG networks to strengthen regional energy security.

• Building LNG receiving, storage, and redistribution infrastructure across Eastern Indonesia.

• Optimizing hub-based and small-scale LNG distribution models to improve logistics efficiency and infrastructure utilization.

The workshop was facilitated by Thomas, Manager of Engineering Gas & BBM at PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia, who shared insights into LNG infrastructure development, project engineering, and strategies for expanding Indonesia's LNG network to support long-term energy needs.

The opening day's activities demonstrated two complementary dimensions of the LNG industry. One focused on building relationships that strengthen regional cooperation. The other provided firsthand exposure to technologies and infrastructure enabling practical energy transition solutions.
